Taylor Stewart
Investment Advisor Representative
Taylor grew up watching Owen (his father) help people make financial decisions in his role as an advisor. Call it naivete or youthful ignorance, but Taylor believed that being a financial advisor was a noble profession. It was a profession that protects families, provides peace of mind, and allows people to enjoy their lives without having to worry about money.

Taylor was in for a shock. He soon realized the profession he had held in such high regard was viewed much differently by the rest of the world. He came to understand that when people hear “financial advisor,” they immediately think of product sales, commissions, and high fees.

Prior to Macro, Taylor was an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). In this role, he spent countless hours verifying financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of calculations, and making certain that what a company was telling investors was indeed true.

Taylor combines his formal education in accounting and finance, professional background as an auditor, and intense passion as a second-generation advisor to bring a unique perspective to financial planning. Taylor wrote the book Embracing an Uncertain Retirement as a comprehensive guide to doing just that.
Taylor graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting, and a Masters of Science in Accounting from Southern Methodist University.
